Mexican Train For Windows is a simulation of the popular domino game which uses the double-twelve set of colored dominoes. One human player will play against 3 computer opponents of varying skill levels. Up to 10 different (human) names can be entered. Statistics are maintained on all players and on all computer opponents (there are 63 computer opponents in the database).
The player is dealt 15 dominoes to start each hand and uses the mouse to move dominoes around on the playing surface in order to organize a personal train or play dominoes. Statistics are recorded for all players and your point totals and standing relative to all the other players can be viewed with the STANDINGS menu.
The game can be downloaded for trial. Once downloaded and installed, the user will have 72 hours to play before the game will no longer function. To permanently enable the game, you must purchase a 12 digit key from Amuseware for $19.99.
This is a great game! It is easy to learn and easy to jump right in and play. You can specify that you want to play against beginner-level opponents (level 1) and the game is relatively easy to win! (it's harder to win against Intermediate opponents; very hard to beat the Advanced opponents).
See how you rate among all the players. Player ratings are based on point totals and the points are awarded for wins and 2nd place with extra points awarded for winning tournaments.
